We are rapidly scaling-up and therefore we would like to hire our Chief Revenue Officer who will serve as an integral part of the management team, and help drive revenue growth. Your job

As the Chief Revenue Officer (CRO), you will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing all revenue-generating activities, including the success and growth of our commercial teams. In this pivotal role, you will lead a diverse team of professionals across Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success (in total approx. 60 colleagues).


We are looking for a candidate with a proven track record in commercial leadership across multiple Go-To-Market (GTM) teams of European-based companies, with industry experience in eCommerce and performance marketing, and preferably with a strong network in those areas.


To be more precise:

  • Building from existing: Optimizing an agile & lean GTM strategy with demonstrable short-and midterm milestones so that all teams are aligned. Focus on the ability and efficiency of individuals vs. scale at all costs. Translate on-the-ground learning into measurable and repeatable playbooks.

  • Independence in a defined framework: Take full ownership of GTM. Drive growth in the market with collaboratively defined budgets, GTM frameworks, and existing PMF, while navigating the stakeholders landscape to adapt to the local flavors if required to be successful. Prove self-sufficiency in local operations and activity.



Your challenges

Leadership, entrepreneurship and Strategy

  • Optimize and execute the overall commercial strategy to achieve revenue growth and retention targets in the different European markets. Drive all relevant KPIs on market level focusing on Unit Economics and leading success indicators of your teams. Align with globally existing frameworks supporting your operations while navigating the stakeholders landscape to adapt if required to be successful;

  • Lead and mentor a cross-functional team with diverse perspectives and experiences, including Marketing, Sales and Customer Success;

  • Share relevant insights for product development and market positioning to the senior leadership team if required to be successful.


Team Management & Coaching

  • Build and foster high-performing teams by recruiting, training, and retaining top talent;

  • Grow your teams through client meetings, presentations and negotiations. Oversee productivity, opportunity velocity and quality to ensure teams meet established goals and standards;

  • Provide guidance and support to team members to ensure their professional development and success;

  • Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment that aligns with Channable’s company culture & values.


Market strategy

  • Be a voice in the market: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs to develop our brand awareness in the region;

  • Leverage your strong network and expertise in the industry to generate revenue and expand Channable's market presence.


Who are you?

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field is required; advanced degree is preferred. Equivalent experiences will also be considered;

  • 10+ years of management experience in either SaaS, or eCommerce;

  • Extensive experience in driving revenue growth and managing P&L responsibilities of SaaS or eCommerce businesses, ideally in SMB;

  • Proven track record of success in performance marketing. Strong network and connections within the performance marketing and eCommerce domain;

  • Previous experience in building, managing and coaching diverse teams;

  • Entrepreneurial spirit, self-motivated, and able to drive business growth from zero to one.


Other requirements

  • Strong command of the English language is required for effective communication within our global team;
  • You are living in Utrecht, or at least travel distance to our Utrecht office;
  • You are willing to come to our Utrecht office min. 2 days/week to work with your team;

  • You have EU citizenship or a valid work permit;

  • You are available for at least 32 hours per week (4 days);

  • Travel component of 10% - 20% is a mandatory aspect, involving participation in market visibility events such as fairs and events.

3. Present your assignment to Rob van Nuenen (CEO), to Robert Kreuzer (CTO), and to Gisele Medeiros (Interim Head of Marketing).


Additionally, we'll conduct reference checks (with at least 2 former employers), and you can also meet our Founders (Rob, Robert & Stefan) for a coffee before our offer stage. ☕
