You’ll be part of the Office team. The current team consists of 5 wonderful colleagues: Alaa, Katerina, Susan, Kwadwoo and Shaun.
As our Commis Chef, you'll be responsible for assisting in tasks such as food preparation, serving, stocking, and collaborating with external parties. 🍴
But hey, it's not just about filling bellies (although we do that pretty darn well)! You'll be fueling productivity, boosting morale, and helping us smash our company goals like a culinary individual!
To be more precise, you'll:
- Support our Lunch Chef in preparing and cooking meals for a large number of people ensuring that all meals are served in a timely manner (lunch for approx. 150 employee/workday);
- We love warm food, therefore we offer fresh soups, delicious pastas, curries, salads, besides the bread.
- Since we are an international company, we're open to bringing and trying out new recipes from all over the world.
- We think of our colleagues who are following dietary requirements such as vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free, etc.
- Channable is growing employee wise, we think it is important if you together with the Lunch Chef, you help creating and managing lunch shifts;
Who are you?
- If you're graduating from a cooking school and looking for your first job, or if you have a strong passion for creating delicious meals as your hobby, we would be interested in talking to you;
- Work both independently and as part of a team, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment;
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well in a team setting;
- You like to continuously seek ways to improve and develop yourself.
Other requirements
You are living in Utrecht, or at least travel distance to our Utrecht office;
You have EU citizenship or a valid work permit;
You are willing to come to our Utrecht office 4 days/week (minimum 24 hours, but maximum 32 hours per week);
Working days: From Monday till Thursday
Starting time: Every day at 9:00 a.m.
